Colts Sr. girls basketball carry league championship, perfect season into zones

The Monsignor McCoy Colts senior girls basketball team is taking a perfect season record into zones playoffs starting today.

The Colts won the South East Basketball Championship on Feb. 29 with a 63-47 victory over the Brooks Buffaloes, completing a perfect season.

Their 3A zones get underway today at Crescent Heights High School, with the Colts first game at 3:30 p.m. against the Winston Churchill Bulldogs.

The Vikings Sr. girls team faces off against the Eagle

Butte Talons at Noon.

The Crescent Heights Sr. boys face the Eagle Butte Sr. boys at 1:45 p.m and the Colts Sr. boys face the winner of that game at 7 p.m.

All games can be live streamed on the CHHS Sports Youtube page and anyone interested in attending can watch from the stands for a $5 day pass.

The 3A finals run on Saturday, with the Sr. girls final at Noon and the Sr. boys at 2 p.m.
